RESPONSIBILITIES:
Atanas Mishev joined our team in Bulgaria as a Senior Compliance officer in November 2022. In 2025 he was promoted to Head of Compliance – Center of Excellence. He is responsible for the development and oversight of the strategic compliance framework for both the Center of Excellence and Trustmoore Group as a whole.

FOCUS:
As Head of Compliance – Center of Excellence, Atanas is an integral part of our global compliance team, ensuring that Trustmoore and its clients comply with all applicable laws and regulations, supervisory requirements, and internal policies and procedures. His focus lies in maintaining and continuously enhancing the quality and consistency of the compliance services delivered both internally and externally to Trustmoore’s clients and third parties.

EDUCATION:
He obtained his master’s in law at the New Bulgarian University in Sofia. He is enrolled in a “Corporate Compliance” postgraduate program at the University for National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
Atanas worked in various legal and compliance roles at law firms and financial institutions, including insurance companies and Allianz Bulgaria, part of the Allianz Group. His last position before joining our team was as Senior Legal and Compliance officer at Allianz Bulgaria, acting as AML Officer managing anti fraud, anti corruption, anti money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism risks.
