Bart van Ulft joined our team in Amsterdam in September 2021 as Global Co-Head Multi-Family Office Services. He is responsible for overseeing our Multi-Family Office (MFO) line of business and ensuring its commercial success.
Bart focuses on diversifying our service to boards, family offices and high-net-worth individuals (HNWI), leveraging his structuring and banking expertise. He focuses on establishing new client relationships and global partnerships, as well as developing new markets and services.
With specialties including international structuring, succession planning, and asset management, Bart aims to expand our existing range of services for wealthy individuals.
Bart van Ulft: “More and more HNWIs choose to have their financial interests represented by a trusted advisor. With the services we offer, we can play a central role in private wealth management.”
Bart trained as an economist and, in further studies, specialized in tax, legal and international financial structuring for HNWIs.
Bart has broad-based experience in servicing international private clients. His early career was spent at Rabobank, privately-owned succession planning company Baard Groep, and asset management company Robeco. In 2003, he joined MeesPierson as a structurer and later became head of relationship management for the banking firm.
Before joining our team, he worked at Van Lanschot Kempen, also in banking, spending more than seven years in the Netherlands office and co-founding the Lanschot Private Office, a specialized team focusing on HNWIs. In 2015, he relocated to the company’s Swiss office where he spent more than six years managing a portfolio of (ultra) HNWIs.
