Emily Gauci joined Trustmoore in September 2015 and is now a director in the Malta office. She oversees the finance, legal and compliance teams.
Alongside her co-directors, she is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company as well as ensuring that Trustmoore’s strategic objectives and key performance indicators are being met.
Emily studied accountancy and graduated with honors from the University of Malta in 2011. A year later, she gained her advanced diploma in International Taxation Malta Paper IIE with the Chartered Institute of Taxation. She also has a Master of Arts in financial services from the University of Malta and a Foundation Certificate in trust law and management from the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners.
Emily began her career at Turner & Associates, and subsequently moved on to a tax role at KPMG and, later, local corporate services firm FACT Group, during which time she continued her post-graduate studies.
Working with clients across a wide range of industry sectors – from financial services and aviation to real estate and gaming – she has managed a vast portfolio of local and international corporate clients, providing corporate and personal tax compliance, VAT compliance, and accounting services.
She has also been involved in company incorporations and mergers, group restructuring, the financing and leasing of high-value assets, and cross-border tax planning.
