RESPONSIBILITIES
Martin Isakzay joined our team in Bulgaria as Senior Fund Accountant in May 2023.
He is responsible for a portfolio of fund clients in multiple jurisdictions, such as Luxembourg, The Netherlands and Singapore. He also optimizes work procedures and supports our global fund accounting operations with a portfolio of predominantly hedge funds and private equity fund structures. Additionally, he assists the team with various administrative, financial and reporting responsibilities for our growing portfolio of fund clients.

FOCUS
He aims to enhance the overall effectiveness and performance of fund management activities and ensure the efficient management and operations of the fund clients’ portfolios, delivering accurate financial reporting and providing excellent client service.

EDUCATION
Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s in accounting and finance from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia, Bulgaria. He is currently pursuing his ACCA diploma and has completed a basic specialization in Python to boost his financial and technical skills. Additionally, he possesses proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.

WORK EXPERIENCE
He is an experienced accounting professional who started his career as an operative accountant at LPG Bulgaria – a small boutique accounting firm. He then obtained work experience at TMF Services as a junior accountant and an accountant at EY (Ernst & Young) Bulgaria. During this time, he provided accounting services to a portfolio of clients, including financial statement preparation, assistance with external audits and financial analysis.
