RESPONSIBILITIES
Sjors van der Meer joined Trustmoore in November 2020 as Global Director Operations Fund Services and is a member of the Fund Services management team.

FOCUS
He focuses on developing Trustmoore’s fund services offering, including all operational and delivery aspects, in order to support the expansion of the business globally. Sjors is also actively involved in managing client relationships and works closely with account managers and fund specialists to meet Trustmoore Group’s strategic objectives.

EDUCATION
Sjors holds a master’s degree in Economic Public and Company Law from the University of Utrecht and studied Company Law at Queen Mary University of London.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Sjors started his career as an attorney at law within the corporate law department of HVG Law in Rotterdam. He made the switch into the corporate service provider industry in 2006.

Most of Sjors’ experience was gained working at professional services firms Citco and TMF, where he progressed from legal officer to various management and Director roles in both Amsterdam and Luxembourg (Dutch Central Bank & CSSF approved). Before joining the Trustmoore Group, he was Managing Director of two of Citco’s local Dutch offices, with responsibilities for operations and client services.
