RESPONSIBILITIES
Szimona Karolyi joined our team in Luxembourg in May 2024 as Manager of Internal Finance and Control. She is part of the internal finance department and oversees the company’s finances, including bookkeeping, audit, reporting, control, and administrative staff matters.

FOCUS
Her focus is on comprehensive financial management, ensuring accurate financial reporting and control.

EDUCATION
Szimona graduated with a master’s in finance and accounting and obtained a chartered accountant certificate from the University of Pécs, Hungary. Additionally, she earned an MBA from the University of Lyon, France.

WORK EXPERIENCE
She began her career as a VAT accountant at IBM International in Budapest, Hungary. In Luxembourg, she worked at SES Satellites, where she gained expertise in LUX GAAP and VAT. She also trained staff on implementing a global ERP system. In 2018, she joined FAGE S.A., contributing to the launch of their production business in Luxembourg. In 2020, she returned to SES Satellites for a fixed period to support her former team before moving to her current position as a Senior Accountant at TMF S.A., where she continued to expand her accounting knowledge and business perspective.
