RESPONSIBILITIES
Victoria Chekova joined our team in Bulgaria in September 2022 as a Senior Legal Account Manager in our structured finance and capital markets team.
She is responsible for all legal and regulatory aspects related to the preparation and execution of structured finance transactions. Her role includes reviewing, coordinating, and negotiating of transaction documentation as well as ensuring compliance with the latest legislation and legal procedures.

FOCUS
Her focus lies on structured finance and capital markets transactions, however she also provides legal services to local clients from our Bulgarian office.

EDUCATION
Victoria graduated from the University of Sofia in 2017 with distinction. She obtained her master’s degree in law with specializations in public administration, international law and international relations and jurisdiction. In 2017 she enrolled in a banking and finance course with a focus on capital markets at the Mannheim University in Germany.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining Trustmoore, Victoria was Head of Legal at a private equity company investing in different sectors. She managed the legal team, counseled the executive officers and the owners of the portfolio companies to drive business success, protect the company and foster company´s core values.
