RESPONSIBILITIES
CJ Molloy joined the Trustmoore Group in 2021 as a Senior Legal Account Manager in the Irish office.

He is responsible for leading the initiation, coordination and completion of new business acquisitions, ensuring compliance with Trustmoore’s internal policies and procedures, as well as local legal and regulatory requirements.

His role also includes reviewing and negotiating transaction documentation on behalf of Trustmoore, and Trustmoore-controlled entities, to ensure their commercial agreeability, operational achievability and legal and regulatory compliance. He supports both the administrative and accounting teams to ensure all client needs are met.

FOCUS
CJ’s focus is to support clients throughout the full life cycle of their relationship with Trustmoore – from onboarding to ongoing maintenance events – while ensuring compliance with Irish law.

EDUCATION
CJ has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Union College in Schenectady, New York, a diploma in ‘International Investment Fund Services’ from The Institute of Banking in Dublin, Ireland.  and he is currently obtaining his Master of Business Administration qualification from Iona College in New York.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
CJ began his legal career at Wilson Elser in 2011, supporting attorneys in its White Plains and New York City offices. He subsequently relocated to Ireland where he held a variety of positions across several different law firms, including Paralegal at Maples and Calder and legal executive at McCann FitzGerald. Prior to joining Trustmoore, CJ was head of the transaction management team at Sanne Group in Dublin. In this role, he was responsible for mandates across a range of industries including structured finance, real estate and private debt.

CJ draws on experience across a multitude of jurisdictions including the United States, Ireland, Luxembourg, Jersey and the UK.
