The Netherlands can offer you many advantages as a base from which to expand your business, whether across the continent or the globe. The favorable Dutch business climate is characterized by legislative stability, international agreements, solid infrastructure, excellent quality of life and prime geographic location. Together, these factors make the Netherlands one of the best places in the world to do business, offering the perfect entry point to setting up business operations in the European market.
Like many jurisdictions, the Netherlands has also recently seen significant changes to its regulatory and tax environments. Holding companies and operational business companies must now comply with various local governance and regulatory requirements, including contributing to the Dutch economic environment.

In March 2020, we successfully helped this client set up their Dutch B.V. The client will now apply for the appropriate regulatory license and use the Netherlands as a base for providing services across Europe in the wake of Brexit.
We will continue to work with the client on governance requirements and assist with (regulatory) filings.
This client is in the process of enhancing its regional head-office activities in the Netherlands.
Consequently, several key staff members were relocated to the Netherlands. We coordinated and ensured that relocation occurred in compliance with applicable immigration prerequisites. Our team of local governance experts also manages financial and corporate housekeeping for the client’s legal entities in the Netherlands.
US developer of marketing software selected The Netherlands as the stepping stone for its European expansion.
In 2017, a successful US provider of marketing software and facilities began expanding its business across Europe, setting up a company in the Netherlands and initiating the European recruitment process.
We have been providing local corporate-governance support for the setup of these European activities, allowing the group and (local) staff to focus on the business.
Approximately 20 employees currently work from the Netherlands and successfully market the group’s products and services throughout Europe. We continue to facilitate compliance with corporate-governance requirements.
A PE backed US medical product developer with a focus on OrthoBiologics has chosen the Netherlands as its international headquarters.
For both practical and strategical reasons the group decided to use the Netherlands as jurisdiction for the headquarters of its fast-growing international activities. TM was part of the process since the beginning and initially assisted with the set-up of the Dutch legal entity in 2011. The international activities of the group expanded rapidly over the years and the group currently employs more than 40 people in the Netherlands and 700 people worldwide.
From the start, TM’s role in supporting the client’s ongoing success consists of providing governance specialist hands-on directors and making sure that all local corporate requirements and reporting are met timely and compliantly.
"We deliver complementary expansion and governance services so you can focus on your success."
