RESPONSIBILITIES
Karen Gauci joined our legal and corporate team in Malta in July 2021 as a Corporate Account Manager.
Her responsibilities involve the set-up, and daily management and administration, of corporate structures and trusts in Malta. She is responsible for her portfolio of clients for which she takes care of all corporate and administrative matters.

FOCUS
As well as supporting her clients in all corporate and legal matters, she focuses on actively fulfilling the mandate provided by the corporate director at each of her client entities.

EDUCATION
Karen graduated in management from the University of Malta and completed a company law course at the Institute of Legal Studies in Malta.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Karen has more than 20 years of experience in the corporate services industry. In her early career, she spent over thirteen years at Fenech & Fenech Advocates, one of Malta’s leading law firms, and was part of a team providing a one-stop-shop service to owners of vessels and yachts registered under the Malta flag.

She subsequently worked as a trust supervisor in the marine and aviation department at Vistra, supervising the various corporate structures and operational processes of yachts and aircrafts. Later, she worked at Alter Domus as a senior officer in their corporate services department. Her previous role before joining Trustmoore was as a corporate and trust manager with the Jersey-based corporate and fiduciary services firm Ocorian.

In all these roles, she was responsible for setting up and managing companies and trusts.
