RESPONSIBILITIES
Margarita joined our Sofia team in September 2023 as a Junior Fund Accountant.

She is responsible for a wide range of fund related activities around periodic NAV calculations, bookkeeping and reporting. She assists our global fund team by handling various administrative and financial responsibilities.

FOCUS
She focuses on supporting our global fund accounting on a portfolio of primarily hedge funds and private equity funds under the supervision of  Velislav Marinov.

EDUCATION
Margarita studied in a French lycée in Sofia and obtained her bachelor’s in economics, finance, and international business at Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom.

WORK EXPERIENCE
She completed an internship at Amazon in the Operations department in London. She communicated with clients and worked on various projects with the procurement finance and the cost engineering team.
Her professional background also includes experience at Caritas Sofia, an NGO, where she was a finance intern responsible for finding new funding opportunities and attracting corporate clients.
