RESPONSIBILITIES
Marin Petrushev joined Trustmoore Bulgaria in April 2021 as a Junior Compliance Officer and was promoted to Compliance officer in January 2023.
As a member of our global compliance team, he is responsible for compliance matters, both locally and for the Trustmoore Group.

FOCUS
He ensures we comply with local, European, and international laws and regulations and supports creating and maintaining our policies and procedures. Performing his duties in our Centre of Excellence in Sofia, Bulgaria, Marin focuses on further developing his expertise in data protection and privacy, cybersecurity, anti-money laundering, and cryptocurrency regulations.

EDUCATION
Marin obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in 2019 from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Faculty of Law in Sofia, Bulgaria.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Before joining our team, Marin worked in different Bulgarian law firms obtaining and expanding his legal expertise.
