RESPONSIBILITIES
Mariya Ruseva joined Trustmoore Bulgaria in December 2022 as a Senior Accountant. She is responsible for her client portfolio’s financial and accounting requirements, including processing and coordinating accounting transactions, preparing financial statements, and training junior accountants.

FOCUS
Mariya focuses on servicing clients in the structured finance and capital markets sector in Netherlands and Luxemburg and strives to exceed their expectations.

EDUCATION
Mariya obtained her bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree in marketing from St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. She also took courses with CPA Canada (Audit and Assurance, Corporate Finance, Intermediate Management Accounting, Performance Management, Intermediate and Advanced Financial Reporting, Tax, Business Law, and Information Technology)

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Mariya started her career in 2011 as a bookkeeper in a Bulgarian accounting firm where she serviced a mixed portfolio of clients. In 2013 she relocated to Canada, where she worked as a bookkeeper for various companies in different sectors. In 2021 she moved back to Bulgaria, furthering her career to a senior accountant position at Ingram Micro GBS before joining our team in Sofia.
