RESPONSIBILITIES
Maya Chaykova joined our team in Bulgaria in August 2022 as a Junior Compliance Officer.
She is responsible for all compliance related matters, including customer due diligence and maintaining documentation and policies related to our services.

FOCUS
Her primary focus is ensuring our clients comply with local, European, and international regulations. She also focuses on detecting compliance related risks.

EDUCATION
Maya is currently obtaining her master’s degree in law at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Before joining our team, she was a blockchain analyst at CNC Intel. Inc., where she worked against cybercrime and money laundering, helping clients regain their stolen crypto assets, monitoring transactions, and identifying suspicious activity. Alongside her studies, she completed an internship at a local law firm.
