RESPONSIBILITIES
Monica Abela joined Trustmoore in Malta as a Financial Account Manager in March 2021.

She is responsible for all the bookkeeping activities relating to the clients in her portfolio, including the preparation of annual financial statements and statutory tax reporting.

FOCUS
She focuses on financial processing and reporting requirements within Trustmoore’s Multi-Family Office Services business, ensuring that all relevant deadlines are met.

EDUCATION
Monica obtained a master’s degree in accounting from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2014 and her accounting warrant in 2016.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Monica began her career as a junior accounts clerk in the accounts department at Kunsill Malti Ghall-iSport, a government sports entity in Malta. She subsequently joined local law firm MAMO TCV Advocates where she spent about ten years, servicing a portfolio of clients while also handling internal accounts functions.
